A compliment to insult generator for when you need a little dose of positivity — or negativity.

Fall 2018
This process started with creating the idea of a word generator. After deciding that it would go from compliments to insults, I designed an interface that would evoke the feelings of happy to angry depending on where the user clicked.

I then moved onto the code. Starting from mobile first, I designed the preliminary HTML and CSS for the home screen and the “Nice” page. From there, I created a word bank for each of the different moods.

Finally, I worked with Roman Jaster to create Javascript to make the phrases randomly generate. From there, it was just fixing tweaks, like connecting the Javascript to the sliding bar and making the website responsive.
